Steam group server permanently banned is stupid!

I just find out that I can play in a steam group with 24 other player in campaign mode. But I GET PERMANENTLY BAND 4 TIMES IN THE LAST 5 GAME.

The people who ban me are not near me and he is like a minute behind me and he ban me because he see I do damage and kill some people, but what i really did is throw a Molotov to a tank and people walk in to my fire and I get permanently ban...??? One time a player with low health (5hp) walk in front of me when I am shooting a charger and i get permanently ban???

Usually when you're on those kinds of servers: it's specifically meant for the Steam Group so if you weren't a member, I can see how this snowballs into a kick-ban. Having managed a Steam server, look at it from our perspective. I know our members will treat the game approrpriately because they're commited and active on our discussion boards so that usually results in a smooth, cooperative experience.

On the other hand, I do see randoms join and most of the time a bit of chaos between randoms and members plays out well. Unfortunately there are more uncooperative weekend-players and overall trolls that make the experience awful. Most of the time, these people also don't communicate either. Mix that up with more than my fair share of having to deal with these people and my patience just drops a lot for anyone who is not in the Steam Group.

I don't think it was anything personal on your part regarding incapping someone like that because it's usually very clear what's an accident and what isn't. Especially on Campaign, especiallly with 24p. Unfortunately, you were probably the straw that broke the camel's back for that day and the admin playing would rather kick <insert "playername"> or even banid <unique id> kick you then deal with the nth person.

Steam group servers are up to those admins on how to be run. I ban players for starting lobbies with our servers and not being in the groups, for playing with few hours, etc. Most of my admins will only give temporary bans to people who come along and royally ♥♥♥♥ up a game, but I don't; if you're paying money for a server and putting hundreds of hours into their maintenance and dedicating your efforts to managing a community, you need some kind of standards and need to enforce them. If you enter in a competitive game and screw up major, the admins aren't going to see you and think 'oh he's just having a bad day', they'll see another potential griefer or troll and eliminate you rather than put their servers and their servers' games at risk, and it's quite in their right to do so as server admins.

OK haw about admin abuse? What do you do to the admin that use those privileges to change the game to their favor? Im seeing this more and more. For example, the anomy server often the game is shut down becos the admin dos not have top score. Or when I spot a game out of balance the hacker/admin rages. wHos watching the watchers? And don’t say this doesn’t happen often. Im seeing it all the time now.

What do you do to the admin that abuses his rights? Nothing. You leave the server.
It's their server, they can do what they want.

If you feel you were wrongfully banned, that's possible. But then, if you're rushing ahead and the admin doesn't know exactly what's going on up there, he may draw the wrong conclusion from FF incidents and ban you outright. ♥♥♥♥ happens.

Try to stick with the team instead of doing exactly what other people don't want you to do and then expecting to be treated well for it.
