connection failed after 10 retries

This message just keeps on poping up when I try to load an online game or an offline game I tryed verify my game got rid of all my mods and deleted the game and reinstalled it but it just keeps on saying this message Is there anyway of getting rid of it?

I don't have a virus I don't have bad internet connection I can playt TF2 GMOD online fine without lag but l4d2 isn't working so it's the game also virus aren't good

I have the same problem, and everything worked fine until yesterday. I can't connect to any local server games, only I can in dedicated ones.

i got the same problem before.. if u got many addons? remove some of them, will fix it.
