Should I...(advice?)
...activate this copy of L4D2 that I bought as "uncut" even though my region is germany?
Should I use proxy? I recently let the cut version get removed from my account, would this help at all?

I am not familiar with the laws of such restricted content however I fail to see how a law can govern what content you choose to put on your computer (aside from the illicit/explicit material which I don't need to detail) as it's your property therefor it's your choice what to do with your property. However I'm 'Murican so it's different here.

As I said I am not familiar with the law but I see several groups and posts related to L4D2 Uncut in Gernany and Australia. I neither condone illegal activity nor condemn it as long as you are not in violation of extreme laws or parliament. Which in this case a little blood and gore in a game is pretty much standard in this day in age.

That entire post was pretty much pointless. American property rights are irrelevant to a German citizen.

Lesbillionaire (love the name, btw), you'll probably be fine activating the uncensored version of the game on your account. You wouldn't be the first German to do so.

Either you didn't read my post or you just skimmed it and made an assumption:

This isn't a property issue, it's a content issue which is why I stated if it's your property you want to put said content on then you have every right, regardless of the German or American statutes.

Case in point, people have done it, they will do it and continue to do so.

Are you serious? Please stop trying to sound smarter than you are. You're applying rights guaranteed by the US constitution to counties other than the US while freely admitting to being ignorant of the laws of other countries. I don't even know where to begin with this pseudo intellectual nonsense.

I am entirely serious. Do you think all citizens abide laws that restrict content? This applies to all citizens of all countries, not just the States. I already provided my input about the issue since I know several people in several censored protected countries that have no intention of abiding by their content restrictions. I highly doubt any government is going to track your gaming content. "Pseudo-intellectual" poor choice of words to express your disagreement and attempt to be condescending at the same time. Forgive me, but it appears as though you are a US Citizen also, thus how do you conclude I know any more of foreign gaming/content laws than you? Aside from the fact I run a server hosting provider with over 50 L4D2 servers in both Germany and AU of which all are uncensored clients that connect to them...

On a side note, since Germany has the second largest gaming market next to the UK, I doubt any measures they have in place are going to prevent any client from downloading censored content to their computer. Unless of course the sites are blocked such as is the case with the UK and Game of Thrones torrents or torrent sites in general, but there are always workarounds.

Have fun, just don't go boasting all over Facebook and the web about it :-þ
