Does anyone feel like everything but the community of L4D2 is good?

I know I only have few hours, that was because back in January I got hacked on my other account (with 2000 hours).

Anyway, I'm a bit annoyed as of late. I just find that the community is really turning me off. Communities are a big part of games. I LOVE L4D, like... alot. But the commuity is really starting to annoy me. I feel that this huge chunk of me wants to say I hate this game because of it, but at the same time I remember how great the rest of it is too.

Anyone else feel the same way?

No, it's the whole community in general.

Subjective, but this community has a mix of it all, thus I have seen worse. It all depends on which Discussions/Communities you participate in. Since this one is more active compared to others I participate in I consider L4D2 higher ranked overall in my list of Discussions.

If you play a lot of Versus with randoms, you're going to run into a lot of very unfriendly people. If you stick to campaign, the majority of the community you'll encounter will be all right. There are still selfish people, douchebags, trolls, and just plain imbeciles, but they're the minority.

If you prefer to play Versus, then I highly suggest playing with friends, even if it's just one other person. This saves you from being kicked and you'll presumably have someone to watch your back.

Apparently not. But kinda amusing he said I am making a ass out myself, while misreading what I said.. lol.

I've made some great friends in this game. It's rather hard to say the community at large are jerks. Personally, I have more frustration over the glaring faults in the game's design than who I play with. Most of the time.

I don't see the people in the L4D2 community as being any different that the people in other communities. The only difference is that we are not governed by overarching rules about behavior and conduct nor are we filtered by skill, experience, or playstyle. This is a mature rated game, and as such, you're expected to be able to handle yourself online. The community continues to decide for itself what is tolerated and what isn't. Trolls and griefers aside, the only negative part about the L4D2 community is the incessant whining that comes from entitled, arrogant, ignorant new players, but again, that isn't exclusive to this game.

There are many co-op games I played, and If it's a game I like, I always enjoy it with friends or not.
However, even though I really like left4dead2, I just can't enjoy it without friends.
