I just bought L4D1, maybe I could port something of L4D1 hunting rifle just like Lt.Rocky did, I'm just getting into modeling and stuff, but I've never done animation and rigging before.

Probably when L4D2 was released and the L4D Community was angry because they didn't want a new game, they wanted Valve to keep improving and expanding on Left4Dead (first game)

That's my guess.

They basically say to eveybody "Hey guys, dont buy l4d, l4d2 gonna have everything l4d has and more.
Even if l4d was barely a year old game at the time.
