Yeah, it's a lot of fun, but personally I enjoy playing the game with other people.

Try solo campaign (without bots) if you want a real adrenaline rush.

Lone Gunman isn't all that hard, even on Expert, and when you die you generally see it coming since there are no pinning SI ready to jump you at every corner.

I'll have to try that. And it's easy to set that up- Just open the console and kick the bots via "kick nick" "kick coach" etc.

Thats how I play it most of the time, but I was having connection problems for the past two days and thats how I discovered it

I survived dead center solo and got pounced on twice.

I typically kept spitter and boomer alive so other specials wouldn't spawn in.

I prefer playing with others though.

Sounds like you are talking about last man on earth mode which is not the same as lone gunman
