Just like the first one, BioShock 2 is an excellent game that everyone should play at least once in their lifetime. This time, the gameplay is better, but the remastered version is prone to frequent crashes.

The game crashes to desktop fairly regularly, and when I finally got to the first fight against the Big Sister that you CAN lose, I could not hurt her when playing on easy, and several seconds of shoving the drill into her did nothing.

In theory it was a great game. This version no.

If the console commands were still available, I would possibly rate it better, since you could cheat your way around issues (enemies are invincible when they shouldn't be? Then I would not say it is cheating to turn on invincible for yourself) but as 2K apparently removed that option for the steam version...

Game itself isn't bad, but there are performance issues and crashes. Autosave doesn't happen that much and I was focused on the game, not saving, got a crash and lost over an hour of progress. Hard for me to motivate myself to pick the game back up when it can just crash and nuke my progress.
