As much as i love the communitys passion and fixes that emerged from it, i didn't pay 60 Euro to have some third parties fix issues that should not exist in the first place.
More like right now, it feels like i payed 60 Euro to read Steam Forums every day.
Could be in my boat, waiting for a first party fix because nothing any modder can do right now will fix the issue of graphics drivers crashing.
Humans are such strange, impatient creatures...though my fascination in them remains the same.
the game patch
I don't find it weird. Square-Enix basically decided rather than fix fullscreen in Final Fantasy X/X-2, they would add a placebo option called fullscreen and run the game in windowed mode always.
Different developers, same publisher, with the same mentality. Skirt problems under the rug and pretend that radioactive green stain was always there.
That's not to say that they shouldn't be fixed, I mean that you should expect PC ports to not be good, and let the devs know that they're not good, and wait for them to be fixed. Don't go "fk this s2pd gaim is b0rk."
