I'm waiting for the multiplayer to be fixed where outposts updates for everyone so that you can properly play and explore together. Not going to bother until then which is a shame but I primarily play multiplayer. Also hoping for bullet wounds on the animals. Has that been added? Seems like such a minor thing. It's good that you're continuing to kill bugs. And deer.

okay so they put in a shooting range! but you have to look for it and find it and unlock! if you don't want to waste time searching for it its at -3840.689, 12641.857
thank fully I already had most of that area unlocked already.
Well that's...odd. I'd like an icon on the map and be able to go there whenever I want without having to look for it. Anyways. I've got nothing constructive to say so I'll shut my mouth now.
geat work keep it up! :)
one thing tho, you can shoot free arrows at the 50m target, and if you have the retrieve arrow perk, wouldn't you have like unlimited arrows? ;)

edit: also on lower graphics, it renders a hill covering half the 500m targets, but you can shoot through it.

once you visit and unlock the shooting range, you'll be able to fast-travel to it. It's a very short run from the first outpost you unlock in Hirschfelden.

This was brought up during beta testing, and should have been fixed. If you find that this is not the case, please let us know.

Well, first off I see a new lag when recovering aim from shooting. A much longer pause in getting the scope back up.

Shooting Range - disappointment
pls do not tell me, that you are talking to real hunters when doing this
first - score numbers are almost useless
second - shakiness even when prone is insane
i was expected to see something like this :

so i can see my bullet hit is above or under 10, left or right ...

This shooting range is great! And zeroing works too, couldn't be sure before after reading discussion about it.

I'm going to nip something in the bud before it becomes an issue.

Please keep in mind that Stefan has zero influence on what is fixed and when it is released, he's simply the community manager for this game and several others.

I'm not going to tolerate a "shoot the messenger" mindset, from anyone, so please keep interactions and feedback civil or warnings will be issued.
maybe actually implement something viable and interesting into the game such as new animals to hunt, new map, varied missions not this same old rubbish and going to one area to hunt then another... and maybe have some kind of ai give you these missions..

so your saying he cannot even talk to the developers regarding issues we may have??? i highly doubt that and if thats the case whats the point of making a thread where we discuss these issues?

I literally didn't say that at all. If you have issues you can present them to him in a well thought out, properly constructed manner. But don't expect him to be able to snap his fingers and make everything magically happen, because he cannot do that. His job is to relay update information and promotional stuff about the game to us. If you have feedback to give about 1.7, give it here as that's what the thread is for. But don't come down on him like a ton of bricks like it's his decision what does and doesn't get fixed. He literally has zero control over that.

That, I wish I knew. Stefan is the only member of the company that I've had direct contact with, however, he passes feedback down the line to the people who make changes, content and bug fixes.

Making a post in the Thoughts and Feedback subforum, one that gives proper feedback with valid points and examples and is well worded, will do much more than griping and calling for blood here.
