Was this a bug or was it intended?
The other day I was playing as hacker.I hacked the clone machines and cloned some random characters, and they followed me all the way to the next scene.I didn't want them keep following so I just let them stand by the entrance.
The thing is, if u let them stand by the entrance, u couldn't complete the escort missions. The man your escort will become hostile to your followers and you once he spots them. And your mission will fail immediately.

That's an interesting one. When you start a level and the game figures out what quests to give you, it won't give you a quest where the person needing to be rescued hates you (such as a gorilla, if you're playing as a scientist). But it doesn't take followers into account. I'll make a note of that...

This is no what I mean. I mean they will become hostile to each other even if they are not supposed to. To verify this I played another game. This time I played as transformer. At level 2-1 I cloned bartender and vampire and let them follow me to the next scene. And at level 2-2, there was a rescue mission in which I had to escort a thief to a drug dealer. I let my followers stand by this drug dealer then when I escort the thief to his friend he become hostile to my followers and me as soon as he saw them, and my mission failed immediately.

P.S. This happened again in stage 2-3 when I escorted a worker to the entrance. He spotted my follower, the bartender, and became hostile to me immediately.

Yes, I understand what you're saying. Here's the thing: When you went to the next scene, the game should have determined not to give you a mission like that in the first place, when the rescue victim stood a chance of becoming hostile toward your followers.

OK, I see what you mean. But I'm just curious about why they would become hostile to my followers In a rescue mission. They are both supposed to be aligned with me, right? BTW, thanks for your patience

Alignments are complicated. If a Crepe sees a Blahd, their hatred of each other is deemed more important than their alignment to the player. Sometimes that might not end in the result you were expecting.
