Can't save custom character

I don't know what is going wrong, but I have tried 3 times to make a custom character and each time it says it cannot save.

If this has happened 100% of the time, it's likely an issue with file permissions on your system. Characters should be getting saved in the Streets of Rogue folder under your Documents folder. Might be a good idea to check into this.

Could you advise me on what I need to do? I checked the SOR folder and all the permissions are allowed, except special permissions; that box is greyed out so I cannot allow it.

I'm not really sure to be honest, it's a little beyond my personal knowledge base. You might have to do some googling on this one. But basically yeah, if you get an error message like that, it means the game attempted to create a directory or file and wasn't able to.

I finally got it to work. Bitdefender was blocking it from making changes. I had to allow it and now it works
