The Shiny Tuesday update!
Hi everyone! Scott and I were deep in Suggestions Cave with our pickaxes today and discovered the following gems, bringing them to the surface in pushcart number 17.c058 (as printed on the back of the Help dialog):

- In your Me settings, you can now globally set to snap angle and position when moving things, or globally set to never snap! This will then temporarily override the snap attributes the thing itself was saved with. [Thanks OP!]

- You can now area-search for "by somename" (e.g. "by spider") to find all areas created by a person! Also, in someone's profile, you'll find a new area button at the top, which will take you to a result list of all the person's areas. (The latter lists areas specifically by just this person the profile was of, whereas manually entering "by somename" into the search may also find areas by anyone else who may share the same name.) [Thanks Nebula!]

- You can now favorite areas! Just click on the new star button in any area's area dialog. Now go to the areas dialog, and you'll find the same star icon there, which will list the areas you favorited. You can use this as a personal bookmark system, in addition to e.g. button or door systems you may have made with attachments or placements.

If you find any crumbles or other dirt on the gems, please tell the town crier at Golden Goose Well... he's just across our window and pretty loud. Thanks everyone for suggestions & feedback!

If you do a "by somename" type of search -- will it show that person's currently-Private Areas as well, even if you can't enter them (or can if you were invited)?

Hooray for Favoriting areas! That was one of the reasons I had created teleport area-name buttons of my avatar.

Nope, for privacy reasons areas set to Private will not be listed in any search. We consider even the name and description private, so they shouldn't be exposed anywhere else either, unless one is also editor or previously visited them (but please let us know if you spot anything else).

YAY FOR FAVORITES!!!!

Thank you for all the great stuff!
Awesome update! Can't wait to get online and play around with the snap angles haha and favorite all of the areas I love! And now people can find new published areas by others easier! This is awesome! (you guys should try making the bodies easier to put on now and fix the replace hand issues! Those would be nice!) but all together, loving the work you guys are doing! Keep it up!

great update, thanks!
The game that keeps on giving! More Shiney gems woot, love the snap over ride because I still have things in inventory that "dissappear" when pulled out lol caused by snap ang/pos. I know they go somewhere but in a full map like Lunopolis ussually they end up "in" something which used to be a pain. Pain relieved thanks guys~
Woot! Time to go visit all of Howl's areas!

@Philipp -- with the new search by creator feature, a few of us tonight went on a tour of *your* Areas: the first Areas of Anyland. In the group, we hadn't all visited all of them in the past. =)
