New AMD drivers don't cause flickering!

I just installed these beta drivers, and guess what - no flickering :D

Oh. thanks alot i just came here to see if anyone found out a fix for the flickering. Because i really love this game. It is one of my all time favorites. I really felt to be apart of the story...

I take it this will work the same for me having an ati Radeon HD5770 series ? I'm just trying to get rid of the flickering in Mafia 2. I'm downloading the 14.1 beta catalyst version now so fingers crossed. Thanks

my catalyst control center is currnetly on version 12.13 i think. Which i'm sure was the latest available update when i recently updated it. If this worls i'll be well chuffed. I've tried running the game with the CCC.exe procces "ended" in task manager which does help for other game such as Bioshock 2 and a couple of other game but it did nothing to help with Mafia 2.

so now that i have the 14.1 beta catalyst version installed, is there anything i should change or tweak in the settings to stop the darned flickering in mafia 2 ? OR WILL IT JUST STOP FLICKERING JUST BY HAVING THIS VERSION INSTALLED ? THANK YOU PLL FOR ANY HELP (oops, sory about caps) Cheers

Yes it works, after patching to beta 14.3 - no more flckering or white lightings in Mafia II :-)

Trouble was i then had to change back to non-beta (latest driver 12 or 13 ??) because 14.1 gave me all sorts of problems with other games. Thankfully i'd finished Mafia 2 so wasn't too bothered.
