If Valve only still fully supported this game.....you know what would make this game super popular and make Valve a lot of money? Campaigns based on the Walking Dead. People love the show and would definitely play a game based on it as long as it was good. L4D is perfect for it for many reasons, especially since you are required to work as a team.

Vavle would get tons of new customers+money and this gamewould sell like its new again. Are you listening Valve :) I have a great plan on how you could make tons of many from doing this if you want to make it happen.

you're right about that if valve didn't port the original maps to left 4 dead 2 this game would still have a lot of players

I've only heard of one server being victimized with DDOS atatcks. But I haven't heard anything about comands exploits, what do they do?

One Server? No, more like any server/game. Even the official servers are being ddos when the other team loses a versus match. Just to say, oh, guess no one wins since the server failed. So no its not. Command exploits are the same thing, they cause the server to overload in cpu and then none of the clients get any packets. So the server crashes and reboots, sending everyone back to lobby.

Hmmm, well if Vavlve is aware of this problem and doesn't fix it, then they obviously don't give a ♥♥♥♥.

Damn, anyone who plays like that, shouldn't play the game at all. I can't stand sore losers. I don't even want to imagine what lengths people like that would go to if they were playing versus on this game in a competiton for a prize or money.

And these are in game commands that can do this?

Dos attacks has been there since the game was out, you posted this topic and said valve should support it again, well i said dos attacks are so fun when you are enjoying a game. I play versus and the losing team dos the server. Is that fair, if they support the game, they will NEVER, that is what they need to fix.

You, my friend, need to learn some tricks and traps. Go get Dos Protect, and i think that will solve everyone's problem I use it, everyone who has a server and knows how to use steam, uses it.

I'm posting only this to help you, not to hurt you, I hope that with this post maybe you won't act like you have acted so far. It doesn't make sense if someone tries to help you, but you return the favor is unconditional ways that make it hard to give you a helping hand.

DOS PROTECT - Allied Modders for Linux and Windows

SOLVED MY PROBLEM, does not protect against DDoS! So make sure to install iptables.

This goes to everyone who owns a server, not just to a single entity. I know some of you are doing this you are not suppose to, sadly, can't mention it because Steam will use "Advocating Piracy" so if you understand what I am pointing out, keep it in your head, and take my advice. Goto the forums, grab the mod, and install it. If you are using linux, I heard you won't get help and it may not work...but I cannot confirm, I do not use linux.
