Well, bad rep would be one thing. Why would I continue buy their products when I know that they won't help me in any form and support the game?
Hence the exact reason I stopped buying Valve games after the release of L4D2 (with the exception of Portal 2 and even there, I waited for a massive discount).

An unhappy customer is soon a customer no more. So yes, they had the option to do so and probably the will. The only thing preventing them from taking action is that there is no violation of the ToS nor something triggering VAC.

THAT would be actually against the law as you would be trespassing - which is simply illegal. Not to mention your "griefing with their computers" would be considered "vandalism" or worse, which again is illegal.

Yet, Griefing in a game is not against any rules - it is just using the game-mechanics. Entirely different case.

they have been banned from every server i know. All of my friends servers have had them banned for over a year.
