Left 4 Dead revival group!

In my opinion, Left 4 Dead 1 is a better game than Left 4 Dead 2 for a variety of reasons, and recently me and a friend of mine decided to start a group to try to revive Left 4 Dead 1 to it's former popularity! So far, we have around 50 members, but in order to achieve our goal, we need to grow much more! To join, you only need to have some skill (Trolls don't often have as much skill as normal players). Write in the comments why you would like to join, why you think Left 4 Dead should be brought back to popularity, and some information to help me discern your skill, and there is a good chance you might make it into the group!

Believe it or not, there are people that play this game every day. The thing is they hang out in specific servers. And most of those servers are modded. And most of those servers are for clans.

I started playing L4D on the xbox360 back in 2010, and even though I enjoyed it, it got old pretty fast. If you could do half of what PC modded servers have and half of the custom stuff the PC version got on the xbox360, I would have probably stayed on the console and never pursued the PC version. And the only reason I did was because I was told there where custom maps and many mods avaialble for the PC version that the 360 version will never have.

I'd join you guys. I play this game a lot, not everyday like before, but I play it more than any other game. If you want to start a group, I suggest you set time to play custom maps because playing the normal ones over and over and over, will get old fast. That's definitely one reason why most veterans don't play it as much as before

Back when this game just came out me and my team were number 12 in the world in game battles (Xbox 360). I'm a very avid gamer and i'd have to say l4d is in my top 5 favorite games of all time. I just started PC gaming and this was the first game i bought lol. I've been on it every single day. Mostly playing expert single player because no one plays expert online :( I'd be happy to be part of a l4d movement! L4D 2 disappointed me actually. That's why I didn't buy it first.. The gun impact wasn't as satisfying, there are WAY too many spec infect to enjoy yourself, the characters aren't as lovable (lol), and the maps from the first one are astronomically better to me. Anybody feel the same? All I ever hear is how l4d 2 is so much better and I just can't see it. PILLS HERE

Yeah... I got L4D2 while it was on a free weekend a few months ago. I later regretted getting the second one instead of the first. I think the first game is MUCH better than the second.

This is what i've been looking for. So hard to find people who play it. I play it a lot but its not as much fun single player. Play online from time to time but people just dont play seriously, killing team-mates for example, or not crouching when team-mates are behind you, getting in the way or kill-hogging. I would like to join to find good' serious players who dont get in the way and who work as a team. You dont get very far if you leave team-mates to their fate then get pounced on by a hunter

P.s. left 4 dead 2 just tried to cram 2 much in. too many weapons and new special infected that are too much of a stretch, a walking witch? seriously, who thought that was a good idea. 1st one kept in simple yet so much fun
