Left 4 Dead still tank pummels over Left 4 Dead 2

No offense, but after, 5 years? This game is still be far better than its sequel. No matter how many times you tell me the features of Left 4 Dead 2. This game still beats it by one equality that the other doesn't have.

Humor.

The characters fit too well in this game, that Left 4 Dead 2 characters look like the cartoonish version of adult swim style parodies. No Seriously, not once in the entire game of Left 4 Dead will you hear some ugly black joke or absolute "Crude american humor" in that game. Left 4 Dead 2, has jokes that are just unrelating, not to mention do not fit the characters at all. If you think about it, the Left 4 Dead 2 characters are like Hill Billies and Gangs combined.

Atleast the original characters are from four different genres and they have chemistry aside from their screaming death sounds.

The gameplay still out ranks that of Left 4 Dead 2, I do not care if you say more weapons, and items requires more strategy. The first game could have gotten the same features, well...no.

Honestly though, if Left 4 Dead really needed a big mass update. This is what I would have added:

- Left 4 Dead 2's Spitter, changed to appeal more urban rather than the sluttish, half mutilated look it has in the sequel. So it atleast looks scary, but also mature and stupid. The only scary thing is if you camped in a corner and you end up saying "F***". That is what the spitter is for, scramble the Campers, best idea ever. The other two infected would not make it into Left 4 Dead.
- Left 4 Dead 2's Second Sets of Weapons. Sure, more firearms are a good choice, but they need to be rebalanced. Better Reload, Magazine, Stopping Power, and most importantly, a good combination in the teamwork aspect.

Believe it or not, it doesn't sound like a big update, but if those were in the first Game, this game would be golden. Forget the new characters, forget the canon where Bill dies, forget the crappy animation and the new infected with goryness. I'll pass, Left 4 Dead stayed realistic, true to human nature, and kept the pointless gory ♥♥♥♥ that never would happen in real life out of the box.

sem duvida o left 4 dead 1 e mil vezes melhor do que o 2, a diverção a jogabilidade, o equilibrio entre humanos e infectados, o 2 pode ate ter graficos melhores mais o carisma dos personagens do primeiro l4d e muito maior um classico perfeito.

undoubtedly the left 4 dead 1 and a thousand times better than the 2,; fun gameplay, the balance between humans and infected 2 may best graphics until you have the most charisma of the characters from the first l4d and much more perfect a classic.

I have to agree. The stupid Jockys in L4D2 are just plain annoying, and ruin the gameplay experience for me. Also, the characters are just annoying. I can't really stand any of them.

I paid for L4D2 game and agree that L4D is much better. L4D2 is just too messy. In fact, I removed L4D2 from my PC so I don't have to repeat launching it by mistake....... ever.

I still enjoy both games, but I like all the characters. The survivors in left 4 dead 2 were supposed to be more "realistic survivors" than the ones in the first game. There are elements I enjoy in both games
