Just a Question:
I already own Left 4 Dead 2, and I know that the campaigns from L4D1 are in L4D2. Is there anything significantly different to warrant me purchasing the first Left 4 Dead?

Custom Mod support is high, modded servers, and a few features such as: Survivor Upgrades which only a few featuers were ported to l4d2 such as the laser sight and weapon upgrades.

Aside from that, the game is more clean, less buggy, and most of all far more intreging to me.

But is there anything really different in the campaigns that were imported? I don't play online very often.

Know what? To Hell with it. It's five bucks.
Left 4 dead 2 changed the maps around from Left 4 Dead 1 alot. The finale for No Mercy in number 2 for example is the survival map varient from 1. Meaning, in campaign in 1, you'll have a closet and a hallway with stairs to hold up in.
Ontop of that, there's many exploits to make it easier for you. There's also the oppitunity to make it much more challanging for yourself, considering you dont have all the ridiclous boosts from number two..

You have the extra SI from L4D2 as part of the L4D1 maps in L4D2. I find that stupid. Why not just port over L4D1 without the extra SI crap?
