What was the point of getting L4D1? I feel robbed.

i bought the double pack (L4D & LFD2) and ive been playing a lot of the 1st one and its great, when i played the 2nd i saw that it had all the content from LFD1 and even the new zombies in the old maps too.

I feel like i have just wasted my money!

Left 4 Dead be a great game and Left 4 Dead 2 almost equals it's greatness. When you play both for a while, and take a look at both sides well, then you'll notice the differents. If Valve only cares about it as much as they care now about Left 4 Dead 2, it would be better than the second part.

I don't feel cheated, cause L4D2 will never have what I have and my modding skills has. I could burn L4D2 in a fire along with the ugly ass characters it has.

l4d1 is much more strategic. the extra special infected they added for l4d2 added a lot randomness too (which special infected will appear when etc.).

Left4Dead the original is great and has no Limitations to it if you really think about it. The play style and how you play the game make a huge different. While Left 4 dead 2 plays a bit more sloppy and just cheats you out allot. Some features are great and all but when it plays like that then what point is there to playing with such engine? All in al 1 is better than 2.

well there all DLC's so they cost money and l4d1 cost money so if you put all the DLC's together it will equil the same ammont.

i prefer 1 because of the... "atmosphere"? its like playing a horror movie. also the new specials are so unconveivebally dumb

The ports are half-assed, and so are the bot behaviors. Francis with a Hunting Rifle is just plain wrong, so it's obvious they didn't care. Not to mention the shaders from L4D1 are much more appropriate for its levels' environments. There's a lot of differences between the original product and the ports, but the idiots just don't care.

The only thing I HATE about L4D 2 is the pistol. It sounds like twigs breaking, or a BB gun. The pistol in this game.. Sounds like a Pistol should.

Definitely... No Mercy just isn't the same in L4D2.
