l4d latency
When i ping a l4d server from cmd, i get 154ms latency, when i see the server on steam server list it shows 172 latency, when i connect to the server and type ping into the console i get 230-260 latency. Does any1 know why is this changes so much?

TAB KEY = Average Ping
"Ping" Command = Current Active Ping (Real Ping)

i know that, cmd also shows current ping. What i meant was that cmd (command prompt) shows 154 and "ping" command in l4d console shows 230. Why so huge diffrence.
