Strong Players And New Players
Hey Players of L4D .. Looks like the stronger or older players of l4d don't welcome new players.
They will votekick the new players. If you are one of them why you should do that ?! . This game is for fun not for stronger players only ! . So Pls stop this making ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ that is so nonsense for the strong players . Please welcome New players and they will also become stronger if you play with them ! .

Well maybe the new players are crap... not all of them of course.

I'm pretty much a new player but I don't get kicked out at all.

Then how do you expect them to be good when they can't even practice with human team mates?

Actually... it's more like the nice people don't deal with public servers. They get their circle of friends and play "friends only" mode. And will only deal with the public when they outnumber them.

So, really, the community is just split in half. You need to find the good folks and send them friend requests....

There is another split between versus players and Co-op players. Co-op players tend to be friendlier.

Simple solution: play survival mode. It's definitely the best of the game modes in Left 4 Dead and the people who play it are by far the friendliest. Sadly there are very, very few people who enjoy survival, so they're sort of hard to find, especially since almost none of them play in public games. Fortunately, you already know me! :P

Well, as long as you're dealing more damage to zombies than to teammates and are able to think when to shoot and when to melee, then you're fine. Just don't join Expert, I can ensure you you're not ready yet.

I play aswell public and no public coop and versus, the fact they kick new players because they think they are the center of attention* alot of players who play with there friends versus or coop both can be selfish and kick for no reason or kick because a new player doesn't seem to play as they want. I play l4d1 and 2 for 4 years. always be your self. the best advice i can give you is just play some coop and survival so you know all the maps... tricks and than play 4 vs 4 versus, and if you get bored of it try some versus 10 vs 10.... let me remind you it is a teamgame. although alot of players think they can beat a tank alone but hey who am I to think its stupid? wish you goodluck!

Actually, from what I see it's best tactic: I go with autoshotgun and rest just covers my back. 99 out of 100 is success.

Naturally, versus mode tends to the more competitive, PvP-oriented players. You can still enjoy L4D very much in independence of versus mode -- and if you're keen on playing versus, find friends to play with!

As for me, new players are not a problem, but I hate braidead players.

I would practise on lower difficultys first then harder. :l

Or just make friends are practise with them.

It used to be the good players wouldn't trash talk or kick. I would simply see myself out by raging (no joke, it really mad me mad how hard it was the first time i VS) until eventually I learned more. But I am still no expert and just get kicked now. I would rather be pwned. When everyone rages out I will stick around to see how far I can go for the challenge!

We will not let you newbs get better because no time for that. Left 4 Dead 1 sooner or later be dead so no sense to play it if u are new. Better leave for l4d2 or other game, only pros and crapnoobs left in l4d1, sorry mate.
