Team Fortress 2 and Dota 2 allows this console command
Left 4 Dead does not
I want to know why and I want this feature
Windowed mode is a horrible way to play a game
No immersion
Screen tearing was never the issue
The issue is that the game runs at over two hundred frames per second when it does not need to run any higher than sixty
Vsync has a flaw that causes mouse lag and does not really provide the same benefit as limiting the framerate itself
You could even get VAC banned
It is a mystery why they removed that command specifically for this game
Especially when other source engine games like Team Fortress 2 allow this
Nobody asked you to pay special attention to this thread anyway
But I do thank you for filling it up
In the end you could not even provide proof for your claim
DXtory, MSI afterburner.... the list goes on.
