Won't launch. Dissapointing.
I launch the game, it comes up with the options to choose what detail of the graphics and screen dimensions, I press "Play", the window dissapiers, and about 5 seconds later, it crashes. Happens every time. I am using a MacBook Pro with OSX Mountain Lion. Any help please?

I believe this is an issue with the latest Mac OS and the version of Unity this game was made on.

Can I have you grab your output log and send it to feedback@musegames.com. Include this is for the Original Guns of Icarus.

You can find your log at C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Guns of Icarus\GunsOfIcarusWindows_Data

I cant seem to find the output log. Is it inside the game icon itself? Because I looked there but not thouroughly. And the folder next to the logo is empty. I found these two things at your 2nd last step. The folder must have a different name because, well, its a stupid Mac.

What do you have inside the folder where Steam installs things?

A folder called 'EmptySteamDepot' and the Guns Of Icarus icon titled 'GunsOfIcarusMac'. And the one titled 'EmptySteamDepot' is empty. or my computer just takes more than 10 seconds to load some folder contents and can run TF2 at 40FPS. Pretty good for a laptop.

Can I have you try verifying the files with Steam? You should have more in that folder to run the game.

i have been letting it load for like 1/2 of an hour, so it must be empty.

What happened when you tried to verify through Steam, did it say anything?

right click on the game, go to properties and verify installation.

"All files sucsessfully validated!". Mabye it is a error with the mac version only. i'm gonna have to believe that. Thanks for trying to help! ;D

I would try running a search through your entire computer for output_log and see if maybe it was loaded somewhere else.

what format is it eg:TXT, docx (highly unlikley) etc, etc...

how big is the game meant to be? steam says it is 95MB big.
