Any News on the upcoming DLC?
Just as the thread title says.

Are there any developments or progress with the extra spaceship pack DLC?

Yes, thanks for asking.

I've added 8 new ships and I've been having a lot of fun trying out new handling types and new behaviours. (It's been great writing new game code after spending so long porting the game)

I think I'll forget the idea about having a competition for one of the ships and instead add support for Steam Workshop. It means quite a bit more work, but I think it'll be worth it.

It means making a simple ship editor. I'm thinking that I'll give the player a number of points to spend on each ship created. That way you can't just turn everything up to 11 and just have a super ship. You'll have to balance the pros and cons of each attribute.

It should also be possible to have the game make a unique set of leader boards for each ship created. That's be great for keeping things competitive.

Spotify isn't available in tons of country.

Would be totally pointless IMO.

Will some of the ships stats affect how enemy waves and generation are calculated? That'd be neat and a half.

I'd rather having the user to ajust himself the ship rather than having the game to ajust the game to your ship instead of to music.

So that way the user will SERIOUSLY gonna take care carefuly to setup his ship. Otherwise, you'll just gonna ajust it randomly and still gonna have no problem. Which kill the whole idea of customization and balancing the pro and cons.
