Hey Starg... What's up with the achievements?

I dunno if it's maybe just me, but whenever I log into Steam from a PC with a fresh install of the game, all my achievements for the DLC-related ships resets. Since I frequently log in from 3 different PCs, my profile constantly shows me going from 63/63, down to 54/63, and then back again depending on which computer I log in from.

I guess it's a minor thing but it does kind of annoy me since those 9 achievements keep showing up as recently unlocked in my "activity" feed, which is making it look like I'm using some sort of hack to unlock them all the time. Not to mention, I don't really want to have to unlock them again to get credit for them every single time I install the game on a new computer.

Is there any particular reason why these achievements don't persist between game installs?

There was a bug right after ShadowOps release, when everyone who owns ShadowOps just got all achievements

Yeah, I remember when they reset after the DLC went live, but for me they still continuously reset every time I start the game from a different PC. I either have to re-achieve them every time I install the game, or log in from my old WinXP system, which instantly unlocks them all again.

Now that I think of it, and quite possibly related, none of my other settings carry over between installs either. On my WinXP computer my level is somewhere in the thousands, with 1400+ stars unlocked, full perks, achievements, etc... but none of that carries over when I play the game on any of my other three computers. Steam Cloud is enabled, and it shows that there is data stored, so I have no idea why this is happening.
