Linux Beta Testers Needed: Online & Shadow Ops DLC
Hi all,

I've got online play and the new Shadow Ops DLC working under Linux.

Anybody out there like to beta test?

Online can only be played with other beta testers, so I could do with pairs of people that know each other and can arrange matches. Online is cross-platform so it can be Linux-Win also.

If you'd like to test, post your specs and I'll send a friend request.

I would like, but Beat Hazard just doesn't work here (Arch Linux).

I got my linux going yesterday (great timing with the announcement), but performance is just too bad. Tried Beat Hazard on a 32-bit Debian 20. FPS was around 2-5. On Windows fps generally stays around 40-50.

AMD Athion II x2 dual-core processor, clocked at 2.7 ghz
ZOTAC GeForce GT 520 GPU, with 512MB VRam
300w Power Supply
500GB Generic Hard Drive
6.00GB Ram

I guess I could try it out.

Manjaro Linux (essntially arch)
GPU: Nvidia Quadro FX 3700M
CPU: Intel core 2 duo T9600 @ 2.80 GHz
4 GB Ram

I haven't really tried Beat Hazard on that machine but I think it should run on it fine.

Edit: Messed up that gpu name.

I'm currently on Windows, but if needed I can install Debian or Steam OS pretty fast to try it.

CPU: Intel(R) Core(TM)2 CPU 6400 @ 2.13GHz
GPU: AMD Radeon™ HD 6770 (got a NVIDIA GeForce 7900 GTO too)
x86 (32 bits)
And a Xbox 360 controller :D
I can beta test it.

Been involved in Rise of the Triad, Pool Nation, Star Command and much more.

I currently run SteamOS but i can also install any Linux needed.

GTX780ti 3-way SLI

I can also test on various hardware, i have a few laptop around and some older PC that take the dust but still working fine. I can even test on an old P4 and a AMD Sempron Mobile 2800+ on 256MB of ram lol.
