Ultimate Vault Hunter Upgrade Pack 2: Digistruct Peak Challenge

New downloadable content for Borderlands 2 arrives on September 3, 2013 with the Ultimate Vault Hunter Upgrade Pack 2: Digistruct Peak Challenge packing a new level cap, new area and more!

Here's what players on PC, Mac, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 can expect that day:

Ultimate Vault Hunter Upgrade Pack 2: Digistruct Peak Challenge

Raises level cap by 11, for a new level cap of 72 when combined with the first Ultimate Vault Hunter Upgrade Pack.
Characters gain a skill point with every level, for a total of 11 more skill points.
A challenging new map and mission, Raid on Digistruct Peak.
Powerful new Legendary class mods and rare Pearlescent-grade weapons.
The ability to unlock overpowered enemies for more powerful loot.
New heads and skins to unlock.

Ultimate Upgrade Pack 2 builds off the foundation of the first Ultimate Vault Hunter Upgrade Pack, rewarding players that own both packs with additional bonuses!

Ultimate Upgrade 2 Pack does more than just add 11 new levels for characters to grow into – it also includes a challenging new map (Raid on Digistruct Peak) for hardcore players!

Packed full of ultra-powerful enemies, Raid on Digistruct Peak is an unrelenting gauntlet for Pandora’s toughest to prove their mettle. Those that defeat the challenge at Level 72 will earn rewards unlike anything Borderlands 2 players have seen before – most notably, the ability to wield insane loot that exceeds the Level 72 cap (imagine what the stats on a Level 80 Conference Call look like) …and face even harder foes.

Does anybody know exactly when this is coming out? I mean i know it says the 3rd of this mont but will it be like after 12am?

Just im off to a LAN party very soon and would love to get this downloaded and installed before i go as we have no internet access.

September 3rd 2013. Who cares if it's 2 PM, 9 AM or 1 at night. It's released when it's released. This is not a matter of life and death.

Steam will have it at 10am PST, they always do their BL2 DLC then.

My highest character is 40 (only because I play as them all, solo more than not, my lowest level is 30), so I don't care about the extra levels just yet, but I am quite curious about digistruct peak. I wonder if it starts at level 60 or scales some and if the Pearlescent-grade (are these above legendary?) weapons apply to lower levels and if you can get those weapons without purchasing.. Also wondering if increased shield drop rate applies to today (Monday in the US) and if it even includes Tuesday morning, basically up till release or if it's already over.

Pearlescents are suppose to be more rare than Legendaries, but for the most part they're sub-par to other Uniques (Red Text Items) in usefulness. They're more "just for fun" items.

Yeah but because its currently not available from steam though if you purchsaed it from GMG are you still able to play with the steam version of BL2?

all versions of borderlands 2 on pc are steamworks so all keys are added to steam

I've been looking at this chart on gearbox forums: http://forums.gearboxsoftware.com/showthread.php?t=323197. It shows some interesting things, like if you have umvh1 and umvh2 then you get additional extras (like additional guns and legendary class mods) than if you just have one of them.

Where do we get these items that are exclusive for people that have both uvhm modes? They just drop or something? Or can we buy them somewhere at an in-game vendor?

Guys ive been wondering, Do we get another Ultimate Vault Hunter mode option to choose before we can start to lvl past lvl 61? Or does this new Ultimate Vault Hunter Upgrade Pack 2 just merge in with the 1st pack so effectivley we can lvl from 50 too 72 seamlessly with out having to select another Vault Hunter mode?

It's still UVHM, you still have 3 playthroughs to select, you just can get exp again from killing stuff and doing missions.

3 in total; Normal, TVHM, UVHM (just level up in it, like you played before but now you get exp for it).
