Cross Platform Co op?
I remember hearing about a year ago they were going to do Cross platform MP with Borderlands 2. I finally got it now and my buddy has it on 360. Obviously Xbox live wont work (will it?) but if I bring my laptop to his place can we LAN with it?

Sadly, the cross platform co-op is only between PC & Mac platforms, not PC & Consoles.

Sucks. I would have paid good money to get PS3/PC cross platform co-op.

Why can't co-op only games start doing this. The precision differences between controller and mouse wouldn't really matter if you aren't against each other.

It is probably due to contractual reason, that they would need permission from the console maker to be able to do it. Sony and Microsoft probably don't want it, so don't allow it.

a console can crash if too many ♥♥♥♥♥ are going on. thats a problem

they dont do this because the powers-that-be dont want anyone to realize the true power of the PC MASTER RACE. It would interfere with the sales of their consoles when people start getting pwned continually by someone with a mouse.

That would be awesome to be honest. I prefer PC but my friends all prefer Xbox.

Would make it easier for them to integrate better, though GFWL is being killed off.

Cross platform between PC and Xbox would be awesome but I would think it would be very difficult to implement, although easier with the Xbox One built on x86 and a Windows kernel. Microsoft did touch up on it at one point, and they might still add it. Here's hoping!

PC MASTER RACE FTW

since BL2 is a Cooperative game it wouldn't make that much of a difference. And I'm consistenly amazed at how good at aiming people can be with a controller when that's what they're used to. My buddy comes over to play BF4 a lot, well switch off every match. He uses my 360 controller, I'll use mouse/KB. Even without any aim assist I've seen him ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ wreck for whole matches using the controller, and he prefers to play as a sniper too. I wonder if it would make people mad to know they got sniped by peasant sticks.

No matter how good someone may be with aiming with a controller, mouse will ALWAYS be better since you can make more fine adjustments and twitch actions a controller can't.
