Why doesn't Borderlands 2 save?
Hi everyone. I posted this yesterday and got no reply so I am trying again. I bought borderlands 2 this weekend for half price. I hcan play it and it runs fine, but whenever I quit the game and start it up again nothing is saved. I mean nothing is saved! Has anyone had or fixed this issue. I have to add that I am on a macbok pro from early 2011 with the intel HD 3000 grsaphics.

about just 5% use mac?

i dont know steam on Mac, but:

go to borderlands 2/right click/properties/updates/ and turn the steam cloud off. Don't know anything else for mac..
this is a typical windows/steam problem.

prolly grasping at straws here but did you poke around in any of the config or ini files and possibly by accident enable "badass save mode" as this causes the game to not save

I have turned off steam cloud for borderlands 2. How would i turn off bad ♥♥♥ save mode? Wouldn't my graphics be saved though?

it off by defualt as its setting we can only guess the developers decided they didn't want us to use becasue it causes the game save to be deleted each time you quit the game forcing you to restart from the begining. it is not accessible from within the game itself, its only accessible from the config/ini or from inside a save file. if you didn;'t mess with either of those two things then this is not your issue. i just mentioned it incase you had been poking around inside of the files

I dunno... Try checking the game cache. Try googling the problem, like, borderlands 2 not save mac, or something along those lines. I have little to no experience with macs, so... This is the best I can advise you. =\

Maybe you don't have any more space in your harddisk? Otherwise it is probably a ram or harddisk issue. You may need to replace one or the another.

Okay so I am looking online again now and I don't think it's my ssd or ram

I don't think this is a common issue. I haven't really been able to find it online that is why it came here to begin with.
