Crashing bug
As the title sugests, I have a bug where the game will randomely crash/freeze, and i am forced to restart my computer to shut the game down. It is annoying, and any information on how to limit or prevent it from happening in the future would be a great help.

Thanks in advance.

Video drivers up to date?
The game has some minimum requirements to run.
Pls feel free to post some spec's

CPU, Video Card and driver version could help.

My computer is an Acer Predator G-Series, not sure about the specs, but I'm not sure on what the exact model is. it's powerful enough to run borderlands at maximum graphics and resolution with no problem, it's just the crashing issue that i have.

Yes, Acer Pred G. Cool rig^^
You might have the Intel i5cpu and Nvidia GTX660, more than enough to run BL2 I guess.
For starters you should update your video driver to 310.70 or 310.90 (if Nvidia)
Also, you should monitor your CPU and GPU ingame temps.
Many good and free applications out there.
For gpu I suggest Msi Afterburner.
The crashing may be a zillion things, but you must start somewhere.
Up to date video drivers are always a must.

I found up one of the manuals for my computer. It's an Acer Predator G3620. I also located a model datasheet on the acer website, so here are the specs for it, and i haven't added any hardware to it.

Processor & Chipset
Processor: Intel core i7-3770 (quad), 8MB cache, 3.40GHz with 64-bit processing and has hyper-threading.
Chipset: Intel 875 Express

Display & Graphics
Graphics controller manufacturer: NVIDIA
Model: GeForce GTX 660
Graphics memory capacity: 1,5GB

These are the most relevant specs i could find to the topic, but here's the webpage itself for a complete overview.

Ok, good job^^
So, good news and bad news.. Your PC is what I expected, and fully capable of running BL2 on basically any settings.
BUT, to narrow down things, update your video card driver. Install Nvidia driver version 310.70. It's not the latest, but it's the one before that. Some small issues with 310.90, so the .70 will be fine.
Many pre-builds comes with old drivers, you MUST be sure to have an up to date video driver.
If you need help with this, I'll be happy to help.
You just say so^^

Good luck^^

Oh also, go to in game videosettings, turn OFF "PhysX" see if this helps. You might miss the PhysX drivers if all drivers are pre installed by your PC dealer.

Mine will crash at any random point it wants to. It once crashed before i reached the title screen lol. A couple of system restarts usually fixes it, but i'll be sure to update my drivers.

And Dr. Orange: thanks for the help you've given me on this issue. Much appreciated :)

I really don't have any experience with this. I'm running it on a pretty low-spec computer. And when any of my games EVER crash/glitch/won't connect to a server the first thing I go and do is verify the game cache files before trying to fiddle with the acutal settings on my computer. It has fixed many an issue. Hope you find a solution. :) A lot of time the computer is doing it right and the game is just derping.
