loot midgets

did they already nerf the drop rates on these guys?

the first day it came out, loot midgets would drop a relic nearly everytime, and a legendary at least 1 out of 5 kills.

now a few days later that i am finally lvl 61 they barely drop a relic 1 out of 5 kills.

is this just my horrible bad luck or has anyone else noticed this?

i got two legendarys of two loot midgets today on normal mode a grenade and a commando mod

Drop rate seems ok, just ran WEP 4 times, a Shredifer and a Baby Maker dropped, plus 8 relics. This was in UVHM.

the first three legendary loot midgets i killed dropped only cash and ammo

Ok, so two more runs, got a Flakker, and a DVA Stalker pearl, plus a bunch more relics.

killed 15 midgets yesterday, nearly all droped elemental relic, plus they droped a fir bee grenade mod

these guys are better dropers then bosses

i must just have really bad luck... or maybe the llm have better drops at wildlife preserve. i keep running through thousand cuts since there are no enemies. i get streaks where i will kill 5 in a row without a relic dropping.

Farm WEP. After another 3 runs, got a Potiental Butcher, Legendary Siren Class Mod, and more relics than I can count. Also while farming WEP today, got a transformer from Pimon, and a Fabled Tortise from a random Stalker. <3 WEP

Is this a DLC thing? I thought loot midgets just appeared randomly. How are they farmed?

BL2 hasn't been updated since the level cap update, so no, they haven't been nerfed.

There is a bug in the new patch, when you open a pair of four boxes in the Wild Life Explotation Preserve there is a HUGE chance of getting legendary loot midgets.

AFAIK the thing was you get a quest from Tannis for the WEP which makes loot midgets spawn in that room every single time, and as long as you don't complete the quest you can do it over and over.

Otherwise they pop out frequently from the mid-size green ammo boxes if you can find any area where you can run in, open a bunch of those, then restart, then you can easily farm them
