From my favorite to my worst game - why is this?

Probably because I'm missing something... but I loved this game. I'm now at Level 22
and no matter what mission I try to do I loose, I've ended up spending most all my money
I'm loosing in the battle arena - so moved on to something else.
I'm loosing in the wildlife preserve where you release the critters and have to skill them all to win. (when you accept the mission from the guy downstairs).

Just running from one place to the others the critters are kicking my butt. What the heck happend? I tried playing today and after 20 minutes I quit from frustration.

uh you are not supposed to kill the creatures in the animal rights mission, you are suppossed to kill their keepers.

Natural Selection Annex from the sound of things. First time surviving N.S.A., made it through the first wave, almost died. 2nd wave died around Round 3 of 4. Tried again, made it. Ever tried using the small bit of space to the right side of the area, once having entered the arena? There's a rectangular-shaped space and on the right of it, there's a small space which can be used as cover.

You'll need a fire weapon and if it makes it any easier, a slag weapon. Rockets can help too.

Best suggestion that I can give you is to kill enemys. Don't rush

I remember trying to do "Where Angels Fear to Trend" at level 22. After dying so much, I found out that it's much easier to do when you are at level 24.

Arenas are brutal when you are underpowered, avoid them unless you like punishing yourself.

I found the first couple playthroughs pretty easy with the exception of arenas. I wasted a lot of time on them before coming back with better gear and a friend. If you're having that much trouble with regular content get a couple keys and use them to get better weapons, because more than likely the ones you have are inferior.

sounds like your weapons and gear are pretty under-level. What weapons are you using? Try to use some golden keys to get better stuff.

Two things: Never rush, and do side missions. Often, taking the time to kill bandits and wildlife not only makes each next fight easier, it also aids in leveling you up. Doing side missions, usually more recent ones, rewards with XP to make you level up. Older missions are easier, yet less rewarding in XP.

I'm with Razor here. Slow it down and mix up your tactics. I had some really silly things spanking me more than once and simply had to adapt to them. There's a lot more of this in B2 than the first. Also, take some time to look over the badass achievments list. The additional points ( and additional XP ) really help out.

What Razor said is absolutely true. Also, vary your weapons. Make sure you're using the right weapons for the job, and it's not always about the weapon with the most damage. I've got an smg right now that can't match my shotgun for damage, but it's magazine, rof and corrosive damage MORE than make up for anything else. I can annihilate almost anything on less than one clip of ammo.

Very much this. I'm currently running around with Krieg (he has the shiniest meat bicycle). I've been basically using one gun/shield/grenade combo since about level 52 (67 now), upgrading to new versions of them as I level.

Then I got to a partiular boss in one of the DLCs, and just...died. A lot. The way I was playing, and the weapons I was using, just weren't right for the situation. So I took a step back, and went and gathered the right things for the job (in this case, an absorb shield, and a shock weapon).

Having big shiny guns is one thing, but having the right big shiny gun is better:)

Pewpewmoar, that's why I often try to keep at least one fire weapon, one corrosive, one shock, one slag and one explosive in my inventory. Also, WHERE you hit is important. When I'm up against the robots, I go for the arms, unless they're those dozer-guys or the guys with the bullet-deflecting spinning arms. Then I go for the legs. Humans, always headshots when I can get 'em.

On my other characters, I always do. But with Krieg, for 90% of enemies, I can explode them down, and axe them to death. Unfortunately, Piston cheats:) And I'd forgotten the fight:) I was expecting buzzards, so I had a corrosive handy, but no shock on hand. Turns out you can't accurately hit the pagoda on his Blimp with axes:( Had a 61 Lydua in my bank that did the job nicely tho:)
