Best Grenades?

Is their a best grenade type to use in the game?
Not specific grenades but types like the ones that pull in enemies, child grenades, or child with health drain.

I usually use the kind that break into child grenades and steal health.

Do some work better with different classes?

I like Longbow MIRVs. As in, they teleport to their enemies, and explode for several child grenades. Too bad they're hard to come by.

I agree with RazorBlad#, but you need to add corrosive to it. So many enemies are armored and it works good on unarmored too. But that doesn't aways work in the second time through cause so many enemies have strong elemental defenses. But yeah. Longbow MIRV. Goldkeys tend to give lots of grenades for me. Maybe the same for you.

[Why So Serious?]

For me, the best grenades are singularity, with shock element and longbow prefix. Longbow because it teleports to where you aiming. Singularity because it pulls the enemy near them which can give you tactical advantage. And shock because is usefull to deplete the shield of the enemies without the need to switch to a shock gun, and also shock is an element that very few enemies are resistent to.

My favorite grenade is the storm front. It will ruin anything but ion loaders and is very useful for removing the shields of bosses and for killing stalkers.. The bonus package and meteor shower do more dmg but they are also a good way to kill yourself. If you just want to kill loaders the pandemic is awesome and the fire bee cooks flesh enemies but the storm front is the best overall grenade. If you only want to carry 1 grenade the storm front is the best choice.

Among generic grenades, I love Longbow Singularity stuff, often a useful thing to have.

I also like to keep a Longbow Transfusion around for easy healing up, especially Corrosive varient since I often lack good Corrosive guns XD

Among the more special grenades, I have a love for the Meteor Shower from Torgue DLC and the... Fire Storm(?) from the Tina DLC. Haven't found much else that had a special effect sadly :(

moxxi corrisive kiss of death is great in normal and tvhm, chain lightning stormfront and magic missile are my favorites in uvhm. cl and mm regen grenades as well

Storm Front is way cool! It just keeps going and killing things for quite some time, puts on a good light show :) I like Homing grenades a lot, so lucky for me, I've got a Homing Storm Front :) Most of the grenades that I use are some kind of Homing grenade.

I can't ever hit what i'm aiming at with the longbow variety, so i don't keep thiose.

I like MIRVS a lot because usually I shoot at targets and if i'm busting out nades, its generally because I'm confronted with lots of targets and am having a hard time keeping up, and want something to soften up (or take out) a bunch of targets.

I don't know what todo with anything rubberized, rubber just doesn't belong on an explosive device if you ask me. Bouncing betties, sometimes fun to watch but mostly don't use them.

The grenades that replenish themselves from tiny tinas dlc are great for that reason alone. Because of that replenishing, I use Magic Missiles quite a lot now to take out indivdual targets. I use grenades in general a lot more after having gotten a few with that replenishing behavior.

Magic Missile is amazing in UVHM. Moreso if your character doesn't have a build in singularity/slag grenade *cough* May *cough*

I'm a big fan of Storm Front on my Siren, because it syncs so darn well with Phaselock.

In my opinion there really isn't a "Best Grenade". It all depends on your pesonal prefence or what situation in. Like; If there are enemies in a group use a grenade that spits out child ones. If theres an enemy hiding somewhere you can't find use one that can go after him. If there a strong enemy that you want to weaken or put a status effect on before you get close use a longbow.

I use the Fastball because I only use grenades on bosses or badasses.
