DLC through family sharing?

Hi there, according to this http://gyazo.com/1ba6de112f2df923727096cb904db789 , I downloaded all the dlc that my friend has, yet when I try to play the dlc, it says I don't actually have it. I'm curious because it made me download all of the dlc, but it won't let me play it. Any help/suggestions? Am I doing something wrong?

have you got fast travel locations oasis badass crater unassuming docks and hunters grotto they are the dlc's just travel to them

Any insight at all would be helpful.. Also, for the person that helps me and fixes my problem, I will be rewarding them with a game, either a payday 2 dlc or Serious sam 2, their choice.

Unless something has changed, if you own a game, and someone shares that same game, you still can only access your version. Since your profile says you own Borderlands 2, that means with this account, you can only use DLC that you own.

ok try this go out of game and log out and turn of steam restart computer and verify integrity of the game it should find your files if you bought them on your account often for somereason i have had bought DLC's only for them not to show until you log out then back in

I played it 1-2 months ago, but for some reason it doesn't anymore. I guess Steam made another bad update.

Ragan gave you the answer; you can't access a friend's DLC if you already own the game. As it says in the Steam Family Sharing FAQ:

A guest will have access to the lender's DLC, but only if the guest doesn't also own the base game.

It will if that account doesn't have the game.
