I mean think about it, the game sais multiple times that the vault opens once every 200 years! Well in borderlands 1 they open a vault and in borderlands 2.... the vault gets opened? According to the information we have the is a 200 year difference. Also what kind of makeup does lilith use to hide those wrinkles? I got to get myself some.

2. They speeded up this Vault's opening by charging the key artificially with Eridium.

For the record, no, Maya is stated to be incompatible with Eridium, unlike Lilith and Angel.
