What do you think, internets? Mania Krieg Edition.
So, Im working my way down the blood tree after finishing mania, your basic Axe Kersploderer-er build. Im mopping up on TVHM at lv. 50 collecting the needful things of my particular build. Have the Rough Rider, the Rapier, The Slagga, a halfway decent health relic. Ive been basically running through the various difficulties skipping a lot and running only the quests that suit my needs with the intent of doing a good solid completist run on UVHM, saving my favorite storylines for last so theyre still fresh when I'm playing them on Big Boy mode. So, essentially my question is do I risk having to rehash Tiny Tina's in TVHM for some Magic Missle nades? I mean I have a lv. 50 Quasar mod that I'm pretty happy with. Any Krieg vets want to weigh in?

Well first off most gear you get before you go into UVHM is going to need replaced a few levels in to the mode, so "gearing up" before hand is really non-existant from my experience.

Health with the mania tree is whatev, you gonna need to be under 33% of your health to go
into badass psycho mode only to refill your entire health with a few swings.

Also you have to pick one damage type or the other. Either explosion or melee, can't do both. Your either gonna do 1100k damage per swing with all melee equipment and skills or vice verca with explosion. Trying to mix the two in UVHM you'll notice a huge damage decrease trying to use both.

not true at all. with bxb you get melee and explosive damage from 1 attack.

i doubt you've played mania/bloodsplosion krieg from that comment
