Counterspell and Kraken's eye bugged?
Whenever I play a Counterspell it allows me to counter summoning a creature too. Is that how it's supposed to be?

The same is with Kraken's eye - it says I gain 1 life every time somebody casts a blue spell, but I get 1 life everytime somebody casts a blue ANYTHING (except lands) Is that correct? I don't think so...

1. Countering Monster sumoning is normal and not a bug.
2. Blue spells are everything that costs blue land/mana so its not a bug, monsters and sorceryes and instants are all covered by this also enhancments

So everything is a spell when it's being casted? Strange, but thanks !

Yup, everything except lands, are spells.

The idea is that your library is your mind, cards in your hand are your immediate thoughts (within the span of a few seconds), drawing a card is getting a fresh thought, discarding cards at the End Step when you have more than 7 in your hand is purging excess thought, and lands in your hand are familiar places you've visited in your travels as a planeswalker (that you've made mana links to).

That makes sense, thanks :-) It should've been better explained in the game, though. And it looks like well placed Kraken Eyes in blue deck make me almost immortal :D

well that depends on what kind of deck you build, most people are more after faster victory then draging out a game

I play only on my PC, so you know, I don't know much about it, but gaining 3-6 life points per turn (and if my opponent has blue cards even more) makes me worry much less about defences. Especially if you can counter his spells, and enchant his best monsters.

problem is you will not be able to keep the 3-6 hp per turn up, at one time you will have to strike, anyway if you feel like getting a challenge and test your deck, then your more then welcome to join us at http://steamcommunity.com/groups/MTG12League were we gather all players bad and good to get mtg12 active

Well, for example, I was in a situation when I had 2 hp, but with 2 kraken's eyes I managed to have 23 when my enemy dropped dead...

well its good but there are other cards that are better and fit a much better combo if you are considering a 60 card limit

Also, land is considered colorless. Activated abilites (COST: EFFECT), and triggerd abilities are not spells...they are considered as an instant on the stack.

Here are some really helpful links for rules and rulings on cards. Most cards have specific rulings on http://gatherer.wizards.com/Pages/Default.aspx

Also, use google. There is lots of info on rules and ways to strategize.
