cant find any fun in this game
Yes Im new to magic, you may blame me noob idiot but that dont change my game experience...
Played a few match in campaign, I lose most of the time, becoz I always draw too much land or too much monster on hand, and AI always has enough land to summon strong monster to fight.
I havnt put new cards in deck so dont blame me no trim deck.
How come that is fun? Every battle is to test how lucky Im and how unlucky is AI!
most unenjoyable game I bought in this christmas ; (

There are ways to get around that and have you unlock cards more easy. Try adjusting your settings to easy lvl f.ex this way the AI plays like a newbie. There are also certain decks that are hard to win with in the beginning so I understand your frustration. Not very fun to lose all matches and get no unlocks for your deck.

Here's how to make things easy: From the main menu in the game go into --> Help & Options - then into --> Settings and here you click on the icon next to dificulty and set it on Mage (Easy level). Now you can start up campaign mode and AI will be easier to beat. I suggest you try using the deck named Goblin Gangland. It is Red and the fastest deck to play in the game. I hope you stick around ;)

Hi Aeonikus thanks for the advice.
Sadly Im already in mage difficulty and still cant win Garruk Wildspeaker (which is my third duel, and re-tried it about 10 times), maybe I should not choose Wielding Steel deck.

Hi Aeonikus thanks for the advice.

Perhaps it is a bad match-up for Wielding Steel, since that deck uses a lot of small creatures, while Garruk's deck is filled with large creatures.

Maybe one of the DLC decks would have an easier match-up against Garruk. Decks with a lot of removal cards (aka "kill spells") will ruin Garruk's deck.

You should also pay attention to the strategy of the deck you're playing. Wielding Steel (by default) revolves around flooding the field with as many creatures as possible, while augmenting them with various equipments.

For Garruk, this might sound a bit weird but try Trinity of Elements, Garruk's can be lengthy to get the BIIG creatures out and you might be able to pummel him with Haste-y cards, with the right cards and stratagy you can play a 11/10 haste trample that you can REPLAY again next turn for the same damage. if you're fortunate enough to get a ("bring permenant back to hand") and enough mana you get another 2 goes with that same creature as an 11/10...if any of that made no sense...sorry I got out of hand.

I am also new to Magic. I've been using the Beknighted deck and I'm about 6-7 battles in, no problem. The deck has a card that makes all of your monsters indestructible. Just get it on the field and keep it there (i.e. dont use it to attack or defend, just use it to allow your other monsters to soak up the damage)

I honestly have no clue why this get's plugged over the old MTGO client or even the new MTGO beta client. It's slow, can't skip phases and last but not least no deck freedom. Even though the older client feals really old, if you really like Magic play MTGO, or check out the streams on Twitch (http://twitch.tv/directory/game/Magic:%20The%20Gathering). However, MTGO costs money aswell, but gives alot back for that.
