Tbh, I think we don't need any new content apart from maps atm. I hope they improved performance though.

The approximate date was announced last week by e-mail to all Silver Badge Reinforcement contributors and up.

Eclipse would be sweet, but the map wouldn't play the same without weldable points. HMG would be imbalanced due the the lack of reloading, so gg skulks trying to wait for a reload cycle. I hope they implement a pistol replacer like the stungun/taser from beta. Maybe they'll decrease the time it takes to swap from other weapons to a flamethrower. The 2 second downtime makes me not want to spend the 25 res on it since trying to use hand grenades and a flame unit is such a hassle. Matchmaking is good in theory but in practice I don't think it would be possible without a larger playerbase to pool off of.

But realistically it's probably going to be more skins for aliens and maybe an exo skin. It would also be nice if they had the skins on the weapon models change based on the skin you are using such as black weapons for preorder and the new camo for assault marines (this would encourage more people to help support them through the reinforcement program).

To clarify: my list represents what I think might be new content, not what I want.

As to matchmaking and playerbase: a missing matchmaking mechanic might be one reason why so few ppl actually stick to the game. An implementation before the next sale, might help upping the player numbers (although I think it's too late for that, sadly)

I would by no means bet on an implemetation of the HMG, but if it gets in, they could always change its properties to make it balanced. It doesn't have to be exactly like the NS1 HMG.

I don't think new skins will make it in just yet. They had massive memory problems due to the Reinforcement skins, that still aren't quite fixed (crash on 32-bit systems).

FT is heavy. thats why you switch slowly, marines dont have omnipotence so that they can whip out a FT in a nanosecond. There is an obvious reason for the slow switching. If you dont understand that you are a bit of a tard.

I don't want any new content, all i want is that the game will load faster and to run smoother.
