When I open the game the textures in the background take a while to load in properly. Same thing occurs when first joining a server
Used to play it smoothly in beta! I guess it all is the memory allocation bug they are fixing now, hopes for the next patch(es). I believe they will manage it ;)
It might be worth switching over if you have a DX11 capable card, just to see.
I have a GTX 650 2gb and I notice a slight drop in performance with the D11. By slight I mean my FPS drops by 2-3 overall. However, the game is smoother and although the FPS is lower the frames are more consistent. Devs have confirmed that D9 is currently the best overall performance wise at the moment. I believe D11 and OpenGL are in beta phase.
