Natural Selection 2 Menu broken/slow/not responsive. PLEASE HELP!

Ok so i just got this game and it dose not let me go past my first click. and they don't highlight. This looks like a good game but i cant even change the options yet alone play the game. My GFX card is fine (GTX 560ti). I have reinstalled 3 times now. PLEASE HELP ME... i spent 25$ and feel robbed. any suggestions?

and all i wanted was to change my resolution and play the game please help

I also cannot go back to the main menu to select anything else.

I have tried to delete the shades file thing then validate noting still.

Reinstalled 3 times.... nothing

I managed to fix it. I deleted the local content, manually went into the steamapps file and deleted the NS2 file there, and redownloaded/installed. Works fine now

Yep i finally found this out by myself took 3 hrs hahah. Manual delete works not just delete off steam

so u delete local content first or after then reinstall

I just restarted the game and it worked. Now I can't find servers or play bot games...oh joy.

manual delete works! i did it a while ago
