NS2 getting less and less popular day by day for me...

There are about more than 65 people playing at night. The month before there was over 85 people playing at night. I think next month or the month after there will be over 45 people playing NS2 on at least 3 servers at night. This game is getting less and less popular day by day for me.

A game just ended and the server went from 20 players to 2 or 3 afkers in the space of a minute! It's filling up again though :)

Funny, you go marine almost 90% of the time since November 2012. And there are plenty of Youtube videos with your Steam ID showing at bare minimum obvious aimbotting.

In 2 hours on NS2 Stat servers, you used a shotgun exactly zero times. It's not that you didn't buy it, you didn't even pick one up. Yet you spent almost all of that time as Marine.

1) You got called out for hacking
2) You got placed on NS2Bans for hacking

Furthermore, http://dev.ns2stats.org/all/index shows population regularly between 400 and 1,000 for April. And that is just NS2 stat servers. Which are a minority.

i stoped playin cause this game is so bad optimized and got low frame rate its been a half year since release now and its not been patched now, so i give up hope, instead of improving the game engine they do a "modjam" or what ever stop that ♥♥♥♥ and start developing sure its just a indie game but those dev`s are are so bad

I dunno. I got this during the Holiday sale and aside from a few patches, it's gotten a bit smoother. Still rough during mass arc/onos/exo fights in small rooms, but I can't ding them for that given my older CPU. I once went on explore mode and built 100 arcs (also, game doesn't like it when you select 15 Robofactories and build 15 MACs when you already have 19, it resets to zero and doesn't let you build any more). My framerate went to 2. HAHHAHAH.

i must agree with the optimization of the game could been better by now i´m a big fan of NS1-NS2 but after so many months the game could have runned alot smoother i mean dlc is not the main priority of a game it should be running smooth before adding new things,i still hope this game is going to run alot more smoother but if they dont going to do it fast the game wil lose alot more players i mean my fps isnt that bad its mostly between 50-100 never lower but it still feels choppy at some moments btw its wierd that lowering graphics dont change anything for me i have a 1920x800 resolution and al accept amb collisions on high.
best build in my oppinion 245 it was running damn smooth for me since 246 it changed again for me it got more laggy on end games that i didnt had on build 245 wierd enough.

Hope UWE wil fix evrything soon i keep my hopes high because i know they can do it ^^

GTX 550 ti
8 gb ram.
I get 40+ FPS easily. Try playing Planetside 2 and compare the optimization of a group of 10 people to thousands.

planetside 2 is a whole different thing.
There you have hundreds of people, craft everywhere, shooting at each other at one large scale and even without loading you can fly around the whole giant map and that with pretty good graphic!
