Last Stand Mod

I know this game (unfortunately) has a somewhat dying community now but when I heard about the Last Stand Mod I was over the moon, I thought it was the greatest thing ever. Now there don't seem to be any servers running it. Is no one interested in co-op Manines Vs Aliens survival mode?

Think I've seen at least one server running it consistently in US West, but no one wants to seed the server and get a game going.

It's a shame, I enjoyed Last Stand for the few games I played during mod jam.

Last stand is co-op. It's a team of marines (working together) holding off an onslaught of Alien AI, right?

Last Stand is marines vs alien players so no AI.
Xenoswarm has Alien AI and Marine players that have to work together.

Interesting... I guess I'm thinking of Last Stand, but remembering Xenoswarm.

It's a shame i love LS mod, but at the moment I don't see many players on Combat mod either, think the wanting of modded games is a bti low at the moment :(

I'd like to play xenoswarm, but there is only one server (Mr. P) and it says "invalid data" when I try to join it. :(

Yeah really a shame loved it when it came out.
But I think most of the time the people want to go marines and try to survive, so with alien AI it might be more popular but who knows :(

So if Last Stand didn't have AI aliens, isn't it just Combat Mode with a timer - essentially?

Not really. Marines don't buy any weapons and Aliens can only choose certain classes when they respawn. Marines can build sentries and they have a stationary exo sometimes, all random drops.
