Player population: steam stats vs ns2stats
ns2stats com always showing higher numbers in player population than ns2 steam game hub, why?
Is there ways to buy and play this game without steam?

Steam Game hub only shows concurrent players. NS2Stats shows total unique players / day. It does however only limit to servers using the mod though so real number should be >10,000 daily players.

Vitdom said DAILY players, not concurrent players. If there are 800 people playing at one time, then, yes, that means there are probably at least 10K players total who play the game daily.
