Hows the optimization?
My processor is good enough for minimum requirements (graphic card for maximum) but during previous free weekend it stuttered a lot. Did they optimize the game since last free weekend or those minimum requirements are false?

idunno, minimum reqs are usually what you need to barely boot the game, this game is pretty performance hungry.

If you have at least an i5 quad core or equivalent with a decent GFX, you will be fine. I play on an i3 6850ATI and I run the game ok.

minimum requirements...false?

That's a great question: I hope a developer will answer this question. If so, could they also answer if the recomended requirements have changed.

There was huge input delay and choppiness in the last free weekend that was fixed soon after, rather unfortunate. At the same time the minimum requirements are certainly more applicable for lower resolutions (not above 720p) and minimum settings as well.

Kind of. I used to run the game on a 2.98 Core 2 Dual, 4 GB DDR2, and a GTX 560 on 1280x600 everything off and I struggled to get 40 FPS.

Now, on my new computer with a i5 4670k, 8 GB DDR3 and GTX 560, on 1650x1050 medium low settings I'm getting around 100~120 FPS.

Don't expect on recommended to play the game well on a high resolution.

As blazed wrote, during the last free weekend there was a horrifying bug for most people that caused a lot of stutter, but it is fixed and the game runs great. So if all you had was stutter + maybe some input delays then I'm confident you will run the game smooth.
Latest build now runs great for me @ 1080p. My PC is 6+ years old.

if so, they could also answer if the recomended are also false or not. corse seems pretty much like that.

Well, they were in the beginning. On ultra low settings, textures are basically off and that should help people at the recommended to actually play the game. Game looks fairly ugly at that setting, but frame rates ARE better.

Still, given my experience on a machine that was basically recommended and now on a machina that's well beyond recommended, it seems the only real way to get a decent experience in graphics and frames is to buy better hardware. I know my shotgun kill rate has gone way up.

If I had that kind of rig, I'd be playing Planetside...
I have Core 2 Duo @2,66, 4GB Ram and Radeon HD 6800. Will it work?

If you're willing to play at a lower resolution (read sub 1280) on low graphical settings, it will run at a decent frame rate
