Thinking of buying it
I played this a while ago during a free weekend but was not able to buy it then. Now that I see it's on sale I think I should buy it but before I do that I wanted to ask a few things. How's the community like? do people still play it? Also I heard that the graphics requirements are lies is that true since I don't have the best pc. Thanks in advance :)

Thanks for that! I had read those threads but still wasn't sure so I thought I would make one.
My final question is should I get this or L4D2?

It's worth the 6$/€ in my opinion (it's on sale right now). Takes skill and focuses on teamplay. I would grab it regardeless ;) Don't know L4D2 unfortunately.

Thanks a lot! I think I'm gonna get Natural Selextion 2 :)
and again there is one question :P
I checked if I could run it and apparently I have am able to run it perfectly in everything except my CPU and Dedicated Video Ram.

Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM) i3-2350M CPU @ 2.30GHz
Video Card: Intel(R) HD Graphics 3000
Memory: 4.0 GB
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 7 Home Basic Edition Service Pack 1 (build 7601), 64-bit
So would I be able to run it?

Intel HD 3000 ? Expect bad framerate on low resolution...

The video shows old build 243, so the performacne of the current build may be different.

Hmm... should I still get it, if it doesn't work so well?

No.

Why are you asking us?
Are you fine with playing FPS with 20-30 framerate?
Are you planning to get decent machine anytime soon?

If not then you can wait for a free weekend to see how it performs.
I got it long time ago and stopped playing it for a while because of bad performance, but they patched it and now it works well for me on my amd athlon II X3 3.4GHz, radeon 7750 (1600x900 low details).

I think I am fine with 20-30 fps since I remember loving it and I will probably only get a decent machine in a year or so.

why u ask if work or not ? .

I didn't remember if it worked, but from what I do remember it was laggy but back then I knew nothing about gaming and was fine with it but now not so much.
Also sorry but I chose not to buy it until I get a better pc so I can really enjoy it

That was horrid to watch. I would think that the difference would be less likely to run smooth now than before. Support for integrated cards aren't there, and CPU requirements are nothing to take lightly on this game.

I would seriously try the game first if you can.

What is all the pop up video hints? I guess they added that after I wasn't a rookie.

MY EYES D:

I have a mid-high range computer, however even I need a better GPU. I am playing at 1920x1200 with everything on high , it would average in decent framerate, but for competetive FPS (60-120fps) I need to turn off some eye candy :/

My setup:
i7 oc@3.6ghz
6gb ram
ati 5850 oc 1gb

My rig is what i would recommend as minimum :)
