Natural Selection 2 For Mac- Easy!
Option 1: CodeWeavers

http://www.codeweavers.com/compatibility/browse/name/?app_id=5822
Download Crossover (Or its much easier to buy- $50 but you won't be dissapointed)
Then download the 2nd link thingy, and wait for install. Once the folder with the WINSteam appears, store that somewhere you can access it easily, like your desktop.

Option 2: PortingTeam

http://portingteam.com/files/file/7477-steam-windows-version/
Download windows steam from this site after you create an account (YES ANOTEHR ACCOUNT, or you can even sign in through google). Move the downloaded file to your desktop and open it up. Don't be impatient. Login to Steam, enter the email code and blah blah blah...updates will take a while. Then just open WINSteam and there download Natural Selection 2.

DONE!

If you're going to use Crossover or Wine to play NS2 then recommend people use the OpenGL renderer. OS X natively uses OpenGL and so there's no performance hit there, though bugs are more likely to be triggered, both by NS2's not yet stable OpenGL and OS X's shoddy drivers.

A quick word about NS2:

OpenGL is currently in BETA for Natural Selection 2, meaning that there's a high chance of a Mac version coming out soon. You can choose the setting in the options for natural selection.

Yes, you get the game on all platforms on Steam, this applies to every game. Also since they already released a Linux version I can't imagine that they wouldn't be working on a Mac version too.
