Sorry if some of you fanboi's and Vet's don't like what you hear but it's the truth.
The game is mostly filled with people that have been playing for a long time and they have little to no patience for anyone new to the game. One mistake and your gonna hear nothing but ♥♥♥♥. AND what's worse, this is usually coming from people who won't step up and take command themselves so you sit in lobbies half the ♥♥♥♥♥♥ time waiting for people to take command.
That's when you get on a decent server. Yea, there are servers depending on what time of day you play. Half the time they're either totally full or completely empty though, and then GL on finding one in-between that's "Rookie friendly".
You're going to hear a dozen people on here say "how nice they are" and "how much they're willing to help you out"; sorry, but for every one of them, there's 10 d*ouchbags in the game.
There is a higher learning curve than the "average" shooter and sorry, the tutorials are ♥♥♥♥. If you DO take the plunge, go watch some youtube videos. Despite the fact that the "Vets" all know this, and you're flagged as a noob, you're still going to catch hell.
I only paid $7.49 for this game and it was a waste of ♥♥♥♥ing money. I read JUST like everyone is doing now how great the game and community was/is. ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. I'd go play League of Legends if I wanted the in-game whining I heard. After about a dozen hours and multiple servers, I said I'm done. I found 1 server (a British one iirc) to ever be even remotely friendly.
**Edit - Oh, and for those that are just gonna use the excuse that I was just bad and butthurt... I was always consistantly at least half way up on the leaderboard, so for a "rookie" barely knowing what they were doing, I was doing just fine. Some pretty sad Vets honestly.
