Im looking to purchase this game but wanting to ask how is it?

It's unique and great fun. It's an FPS, it's an RTS and its asymmetrical, but balanced. There are not many games like this. A bit confusing in the beginning, but there are many rookie servers.

This game is surprisingly fun. When I first came into it, I was honestly ecpecting a more generic shooter... I was very wrong about that! There's guns, flamethrowers, robots, wall-crawling aliens, fat piggy aliens, and much more! It is fairly complicated and has a steep learning curve, but a few youtube tutorials and a little patience will get you going strong and explain some of the finer points of the game ( I suggest TychoCelchuuu http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=121296534). Awesome game, worth every penny!

I play a lot of CS and my shooting skills are decent there, but shooting wall and ceiling crawling aliens is quite different. :)

At first I was a bit unsure of game, not sure if I should buy it. but after buying it I can gladly say its worth it. It's very unique with two sides to choose from (Aliens or marines). If your looking for a game that is team driven, then this is the game for you.

It's the only FPS game in the last 5 years that I have put more than 300 hours into. Other than the new rainbow 6 game and titanfall I don't see anything even close to it coming along.

Before NS2 I never really played FPS games on my PC. Now NS2 is pretty much all I play. I love how team oriented the whole thing is. It has a very appealing degree of depth - it's not just another COD game - and the asymmetrical gameplay + the commanding aspect makes it really fun and replayable. I highly recommend it.

The game is highly addicting and a ton of fun. Once you get a regular server you will start clocking alot of hours. Once of the best FPS games I have played in a long time
