This thread smells like another case of I-see-cheaters-everywhere syndrome. Yes, some players are THAT good.
This mentality is what allows these cheats to get away with cheating. Going 50-1 is not an issue, going 97-18 my personal best is not an issue. I have 3x the amount of hours as you do. This is the first cheater I have seen, in that entire time, that I could confirm myself. Locking on and not varying your attack by even 1 pixel is either superhuman to the point where you shouldn't ever die or your aim is being controlled. Frankly thats impossible dead center no variation, and snapping to each center target as they pass by the crosshair? You think dead center on a single pixel while following the target is normal?
This is the level cheats have arrived at only 1/10 people can spot them and those other 9 just say its not a cheat so the hacker can do it all he wants.
Heres a wall hack no auto aim:

"In my experience I have not seen a hacker. Therefore they don't exist". Other people play this game, at different times, on different servers, you know?
Rainer is a respectable player with enough experience to be able to spot a hacker. And if what he has described is true, then it would be evidence for hacking. It is true that hacking is rather rare, or at least that, amongst the small NS2 community with a certain level of sophistication, it is not often detected. That explains why so many people in both this forum and the official forums like to say "after my x amount of hours playing I haven't seen any, so you must be lying."
The video of Zero/NSP is a blatantly obvious example of wallhacking.
This seems to be the best course of action as naming-and-shaming is generally frowned upon.
I haven't seen any aimbot that bypass the consistency checking if setup properly, the small audicene doesn't seem to be worth it to make hacks for this game.
Oh also, the "wallhack", i.e. bright models is blocked by consistency, unless there is another kind around.
Or you simply don't notice it?
Saying there aren't cheaters is pretty ridiculous when the official playtesters for UWE have set up their own banning feature to combat hacking.
I know for a fact there's one cheater running around with a wall hack as he lines up shots on things he cannot see and starts shooting before he enters a room. I've seen this from both an Alien aspect and from being on his team. Simply knowing there is an alien on the ceiling somewhere is different from lining your shot up perfectly and shooting before you enter so every round that is in the room will hit. Basically impossible to sneak up on him because of his wall hack. If he's on a server, I leave it. He's basically running around with an infnite com scan. His scores on Alien are nowhere even close to his scores on Marine.
User Corrupt Convergence has at least 4 videos on Youtube showing him blantantly aimbotting. He's currently banned on NS2Bans.
The amount of hacking is likely more than those who claim there is none (such as yourself) and less than those who cry hacker all the time.
There's one that doesn't deal with textures. It creates outlines of red and blue for enemies/allies through walls. And it keeps getting updated which is fricken' annoying. I'm not going to say what it's called but the forums for it have active postings and the POS b@stard scumbag responsible seems relatively on it for each patch. It's likely the wallhack that one player I know is hacking is using.
Saw 3 dead skulks from single pistol clip, Yet he wasn't cheater, just "good guy" that joined rookie srver to whipe floor with potential new gamers :). So 4 skulks for 500 damage potential of one clip is posible. Observing his first person view is beter sours of info.
'd love servers to have nice admins that'd check suspicious persons regulary... yet even Blizzard with SC2 couldn do it efectively... and go to observer mod midgame can cause your cick :( Good thing hackers aren't comon, and since pro a---s ruin rookie servers much more often it's not that big of a deal.
